On the Scubadiving board they are commenting that they aren't finding many Frogfish. Did Omar affect them? I would think they'd have a really tough time with sure.

They are just masters of camouflage. They are definitely there but you'll probably need a Dive Master or Instructor to find one for you.

We were on Bonaire during and for over three weeks after Omar, and we saw several frogfish during the aftermath.

i've come out of many dives and have told people going in "wow...there had to be at least a dozen frogfish there". then they ask where. i reply, "i don't know...i didn't see one but i just know they are there".

I can spot them, finally. I am just quoting some divers who say they saw froggies last year but not this. Just luck, I guess.

My wife and I were told by a dive master the exact location on the reef where we could find a couple of Frog fish. We spend twenty minutes looking with no luck. We were swimming back to the shore when a Dive Master and a student were heading out in the general direction where we were looking. I thought to myself that they were heading out to the frog Fish, so we carefully followed them back and hung back allowing the student to see the fish. If the dive master had not swam past we would still never have seen the Frog Fish.

Took me years to learn how to be able to find those buggars! I think I see their eye, or the spots on their tails.

I have been to bonaire 5 times, and we have always had our best luck finding frogfish at yellow submarine and something special. But you should also ask the guides whre they are
