Jake needed to go out and clean the ReefCam again so this time I went with him. The tide was in so it was actually a bit of a challenge for me to put my fins on. The place I usually stand was a little too deep at 8:15 in the morning. (Tide is usually around 1 foot or so.)The water temp was around 79 but without the slightly warmer top layer later in the day.

Fish find of the dive had to be the parrotfish - a Blue, Midnight, and a Rainbow - all terminal males. Seeing one of them would have been great but all three in the same dive. They passed by below 70 feet. And of course, the usual Princess, Queen and Stoplight parrotfish were there.

We terrorized a little flounder in the sand for awhile watching how he dived in to hide. I rescued a Yellowtail Snapper. He was tiredly swimming about 8 feet above the reef attached to a fishing line. The snapped line was about twenty feet long and had gotten caught on a piece of coral so the fish was stuck. He was so worn out that he allowed me to reel him in and cut the line right near his mouth. I couldn't see the hook at all.
Dive Time: 63 minutes
