Just to give you an update, current surface water temps in Bonaire around 83F surface and 77F at 100 fsw....I was using a shorty today but got chilled on dive #3....will use a full 3/2mm tomorrow and maybe my 3mm hood on later afternoon dives to preserve core body temp.

Just returned from a week of diving. The consensus of 18 diver's computers was a low of 79, high of 80.

We were in Bonaire for 3 months (Jan 09 thru Mar 09). Water temps are cooler. My computer was reading a steady 77 with a few 78s - definitely cooler diving than in previous winters. I think you will be more comfortable with a full wet suit. Have fun

it is healthier for the coral. Those 84s and 85s are contributing to the red algae which can kill coral. But, we do like it warm.
