Hi,

Heading down to Bonaire for the first time and was told to dive with Caradonna. Just curious if anyone out there has anything to say from first hand experiences.

Thanks in advance!

Caradonna is a travel agent, not a dive operator.

You've got a bit of homework to do; read through all the postings to get started...

Hey Tom,

New to the board (by about 10 minutes!)...
I'll take a look.

Thanks

Evan, when I was leading group trips to Bonaire, I used Dawn Snow from Caradonna and she was fantastic. Others have sung the praise of another of Caradonna's people, I hope they pipe in.

If I may suggest, you should also contact Ann Phelan of http://www.bonairecaribbean.com
Ann is a member of this board, she lives on Bonaire and in addition to arranging your vacation, she can give you excellent first hand information regarding the island.

Welcome to Bonaire Talk, I hope your vacation is a great one!!!

I have used Caradonna and Bonaire Pros for my trips with NO negative issues to report. Lots of info for you to read here and at infobonaire.com. On Bonaire you trade cost vs amenities with the full service (room-dive op-restaurant bar-ocean front)resorts being the highest priced and the land locked neighborhood rooms costing the least.

All accommodations can hook you up with a dive operation.

For first timers I would not hesitate to recommend ANY of the full service ocean front resort as a great way to begin to experience this wonderful dive destination.

Caradonna is one of the oldest and well established agencies and have been sending folks to Bonaire for over 25 years. They booked my first trip here and always were tops in service and follow through...

I have used Amy at Caradonna to book my trips for about 7 years; she has always been great to work with, never any problems, sometimes finds some great airfare deals as well as the land package. She is so good that I never use anyone else.

I'd love to disagree with Scott, but instead must ditto everything he says. We just booked March and October 2009 with Amy.

By the way Scott and Gale got their Bonaire Ambassador awards recently. Congratulations!

Amy is the best! I book my own trips now but Amy was so extremely helpful with our first trip to Bonaire many years ago.

Ann Phelan is a wonderful agent, too. Can't go wrong with either one! cb

Thanks everyone for all the info... I can't wait!

A Winter storm watch goes into effect tomorrow where I live (up to 15"). The tropics can't come soon enough :-)

We run a shop that used various companies to book trips until we used Caradonna. Now we only use Caradonna. They are the BEST. ask for Kim ex. 109.
