I'm bringing some folks to Buddy Dive this Saturday. One of them wants to take Fish ID, but I can't fit it into my teaching schedule. Who do you recommend in Bonaire to teach this, and how do I contact them?

Thanks!

Hi Mel,

I would guess that Jerry Ligon would be the one to contact at Bonaire Dive Adventure at Sand Dollar.

We're coming in on the redeye from Newark in the wee small hours this Sunday. Looking forward to seeing you, probably at breakfast this Sunday. We'll most certainly be red-eyed and weary, but hopefully awake enough to be at breakfast and give you a hearty handshake.

I highly recommend the "Dive with the Naturalist" course that Jerry Ligon runs out of Bonaire Dive and Adventure. I have taken this course several times since my first trip to Bonaire in 2000. I took it twice on that first trip and Jerry signed off on new PADI specialty card for me.

Last May there was a gentleman working with Buddy Dive who called himself the Digital Doctor. He specialized in underwater photography, but his knowledge of the reef and reef creatures was great.

If he is still there on the dive dock, he would be a great help. Sorry, I don't recall his name - but he had a great smile and lots of information!!!
