We are staying at Caribbean Court Condo near the Plaza Hotel Resort, for 2 weeks at xmas time. We are looking for a good dive shop nearby. Toucan Diving is at the Plaza. Can anyone give us some feedback? Should we go with them or elsewhere?
We have been diving for 2 years. Our last visit to Bonaire we did only shore diving but would like to do some boat dives too. We prefer to dive with small groups to avoid the crowds.
Thanks for any advice you can give us.

Lorraine and Gary

Hello Lorraine - Welcome to BT

Dive Friends/Yellow sub is awesome for unlimited shore and small group boat dives.

I'm using them again in 20 days.

They have many locations...

There is a dive shop at Caribbean Court (Divocean). New shop, new gear, very friendly owners.

Hello

We always stay at the Caribbean Court and use the Dive Centre opposite. They are called Tropical Divers and we have always found them to be very professional and also a lot of fun. The website is http://www.tropical-inn-resort-engl.tropical-divers.com/home.html or www.tropical-divers.com. They are a German run organisation, but speak perfect English. You'll find that all the dive centres are good on Bonaire so it's really a matter of finding one that is convenient to where you are staying. Have a great holiday.

Am I misunderstanding something? The price list states "Unlimited Air", but underneath limits it to 3 tanks per day.

We have been diving this island for years and love the ease of every thing shore diving ect... It hurt to hear they were bringing in cruise ships. Our dive paridise was gone. Can any body tell me how the island is handling the load. How is the clarity? Is the reef getting big time sanded from washout? We have been staying at divi the last few years. We can only hope that the cruise lines feel that boniar is not worth seeing and will not come back. Dwayne
