Today I took a trip up to Karpata and when I turned the air on to my reg there was a large hissing sound from my console. I drove back to Yellow Su$marine's shop and they opened it up and found that the hose had disconnected from the pressure gage. Apparently during servicing my LDS dis not replace the swivel joint and when I rotated the gage so that I coul;d see the face it came loose. Luckily it didn't happen at depth.

Anyhow, they added a swivel and reconnected the hose. They didn't charge me anything and they weren't even aware that I was diving with them since I registered at their Dive Inn shop.

Ed, personally I'm not surprised. Service like that is a regular occurrence on Bonaire, however it is not shared nearly as often as it should. Thanks for your post. Dive Safe!

Wannadive did a somewhat similar rescue on my reg this spring. And they had already closed for the night. No charge. Great guys!
