Coming back to Bonaire (after a 6 year hiatus) and I'm thinking about replacing some of my dive gear after this trip. Does anyone know of programs to teach young bonairians to dive. I wouldn't mind leaving my completely functional (i'll be using it on Bonaire)Zeegle Ranger to a deserving soul if there were some group to do it through. I've also got a Sony PC 120 video camera with muchos extras and a dolphin housing that I'd let go very very cheap or free to a good cause. Just a thought, but most of us have dive gear that we're wanting to replace (us boys needs new toys), does anybody in bonaire provide a venue to make this stuff available.

STINAPA has kids programs and always can use donations. I get stuff quite often for them and pass it on.

Joe, you are a good man. I just bought a new BC, old velcro pockets lost their "cro"...I think I'll do the same thing (they'd have to wear a weight belt)...better than collecting dust in the garage, that's for sure.

Michael, do you know if Jong Bonaire needs stuff as well?

Michael, We will be coming back in Sept. I have a BC too small for me and two sets of regs. One is a Mares and the other a scuba pro both will need serviced as they haven't been used for a couple of years. If donated to STINAPA could we get a receipt and use as tax deductible donation.

Done deal....maybe I'll give the BC to Jong Bonaire and the camcorder to Stinapa....tanks for the help

The Jong Bonaire program is also a good outlet and s run in cooperation with Stinapa so either one is fine. What they need is more masks, fins and snorkles. Thanks for all your help!
