Hey my husband and I will be in Bonaire during the Photo Shoot Out June 7th through the 14th. How do I find out what cruise ships will be in during those times and which ones and how big they are?

hey anyone
out of curiosity i went on the scheduling web site that April gave for cruise ships and found out that cruise ships will be on bonaire all yr round. thought the island was only thinking of that. what a HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. i've been to st thomas and their downtown was gross. drug dealers approached us, right on the main street.

Don't think of the Freewinds as a cruise ship, as far as people visiting the island goes. While it is there all year round, is primarily, at least as I understand, a teaching facility for Scientology. I think the people spend most of their time on board or off at sea. It is also not a very big ship. Maybe someone that knows more than I will pipe up.
The complaint about it however is the environmental issue.

Does anyone know if they are expanding the "big boys" calendar? I hope not. We arrange to visit when the "big boys" do not come to Bonaire. Freewinds we can handle, as we have in the past, but I don't want to see a huge pod ship sitting next to me while I am at the Divi. We go end of May/beginning of June. Looks OK so far.

Any all-year arrivals for the monster ships expected? Thanks! Carole

NO...the cruise season will end next week..Freewinds will be here but thats about it..
