Does anyone know if Buddy Dive has the Reef Set fish/creature ID books available for looking up fish at their dive shop, or do I have to bring my books down with me?

They've had them in the past, can't verify if they have them right now.

If you have a laptop computer I can highly recommend the brand new Reef Fish ID DVD/CD rom. It is a 2 disc set. One DVD and a CD-rom (DVD-rom) to install on your computer. Lots of great pictures (lots from Bonaire too) and much easier to identify fish than with the book.

They always have in the past. You can email the dive shop directly to ask them at diveshop@buddydive.com.

I second Bas's comment. I just got back from my trip and used my DVD set - what a WEIGHT saver. My Paul Humann books probably weighed 8 pounds and actually my laptop and DVD set weighed less. I LOVE IT!! Now if I could get it for ALL of the series.

Michael - I would email Carib Inn as the time gets closer to ensure that they have a copy on hand at that time. Someone else may have the very same thought.

I ended up bringing two of my books, the fish Id and the creature Id. Thank goodness for having a non-photographer buddy with room in one of his bags! I think I'll get the DVD version for my next trip.
