My son and I recently completed a diving course in Bonaire, and he has to give a presentation to his school. Anyone know of a website that would have fish photos to download and use in a school report?

Welcome to Bonaire Talk!!!
welcome
Maybe a kind BT member would be willing to share some of their UW captures from a recent trip? We have a lot of talent on this board.
Just give them due credit and they'll be famous at your son's school :-)

Good luck to him!!!

I'll share mine if you want - they're not great but you can use what you like. Send me an email address and I'll send you a share invitation from Snapfish for my album. There are others on BT with much better photos available . . dkacavas@maine.rr.com

Foster,
Welcome to Bonaire Talk.

In case you did not know, most of the images you find on Google are copyrighted images. Many specifically request that the image(s) not be used without consent.

Some BT folks have replied that your son is free to use their images.
Should your son decide to use any of these images, might it be possible for him to acknowledge the photographer and mention that these images were used with permission?

Later in his academic career, when he is writing a formal paper for example, he will already be knowledgeable about citing his sources and giving credit where credit is due.

My husband thinks I'm nuts. I just take pictures of the really, really good meals. I can taste them via photos after we return home. I know it's kinda nuts, but then again, I do some quirky things. Glad you enjoyed the photos.

(off topic but Marge, I, too, take pictures of my great meals!)

Foster, how old is your son and when is the report due?

Here are some from a snorkeler's perspective. He is welcome to use any on the three linked galleries or any from the linked Bonaire trip report.

Hey bob....no april showers, I see you have some pics from Gilboa Quarry. Do you live close to there? My daughter and I did Gilboa last summer. I was impressed, as the diving was pretty good for it being a quarry. Much better vis than the quarrys of western Pa.

Marge, Your photos are gorgeous! We're heading to Bonaire for the first time in mid-August and staying at the Carib Inn. Is that where you stayed? If so, we'd love any addition photos and/or info. about the accommodations.
Thanks for sharing those photos!
Aly and Art
