Ted I would say about 80 to 90 feet from this morning's dive at Andrea I.

With todays cold upwelling maybe now 60 to 80 feet. The water temp dropped today from 79 to 77F (25C)

Seems odd to have an upwelling this time of year. I thought they normally took place in the summer.

Not sure what you would call it Vince, at 10:30 yesterday the thermocline at Andrea 1 was down to 77F was at 55feet, at 11:30 at the mixing layer was at 30 feet and then at Habitat it was 77F at the surface and below. We were back to 79 today at Andrea and Kalles Reef.

Brian - if you there is something you can do to warm up the water that would be much appreciated. I would like 80 degrees by Sunday please.

bob - that's what I was concerned about. I'm thinking coffee and cold water - oh never mind...we don't want to go into that discussion.

We just got here yesterday, did our check out dive at Yellow Submarine, and then did two dives today--Windsock and Andrea II. Pretty dives, but we both noticed the visibility is way down from what it was when we came to Bonaire in June. Someone said something about it raining a lot here lately which has churned things up. Not sure if that is the real reason or not. We were wondering if the time of year had something to do with it. We talked to someone that always comes in March and she was saying that it is "always like this", so that's why we were wondering if it was the time of the year. hmmm...
