Hey All,

I found this little guy at Alice in Wonderland:

BabyFrogfish

I know that the most common frogfish found around Bonaire is the Longlure. However, this fish displays some of the characteristics of a different species. The lure has "worms" dangling from it, similar to a Clown Frogfish. Does anyone know if this is a different species? Do the juvenile Longlures have different characteristics than the adults?

This is our 9th trip coming up and for the first six we never found our "own" frogfish. FINALLY, last time 3 of us found our own and I found three myself.

I still trying to figure out how much $ those frogs cost to find.

I think its great to spot one on your own. Great photo.

Antennarius multiocellatus have a wide variety of color phases and the ability to change color to match their surrounding background.
The specimen in your pic does exhibit the characteristic spots on the tail but has more of them.
Excellent shot, thanks for sharing.
