Is there snorkeling at the beach at the Plaza Resort? If not, which resorts have good beaches with snorkeling right there now that the Sunset Beach resort is closed.

Is there anyway to shore dive from Captain Don's following the storm damage caused by Lenny?

Well there is a new beach at Sand Dollar, tho it is just as easy to get into the water from the ladder. the fish are all there, tho some seem a little confused about where their home is. there is still a school of 100-300 horse eye jacks under the Samur.

It was very good, with very easy access and an amazing variety of fish life. In fact, Bari Reef (next door, in front of Sand Dollar) was said to be the reef with a larger number of positively identified species in the Caribbean - and many of those were in the shallows (including turtles and squid). Since Lenny, I don't know, but several posts in this group suggest that the fish life is even better!
