Tried the archives but couldn't find much. Now that I need reading glasses I am thinking about trying the stick on ones for my mask.

Any comments about them would be greatly appreciated!

thanks
Nell

Well I've been using a pair for a few months now. They do work and are easy to apply. I needed them to see the tiny display on my camera.

Get the glue in ones I have lost several stick in ones but never a glue in one. I have used them for several years to read the small print on my computer.

These computer companies are missing a huge demographic...by the time we can afford all the stuff, we can't read the small print any more!

I have used Scuba Optics glue in lens called Magni View available in +2.00 or +3.00.

The +2.00 still work OK Mel.

They were supposed to have a booth at DEMA last week but were a No Show. Too bad as I wanted to buy a couple more lenses to keep as back ups.

Deep Blue Gear also sells masks with lens ground in -1.00 to -10.00 & +1.0 to +4.0 Bifocal in .5 increments. I did order a mask from them at DEMA as a back up with +2.00.

A couple years ago I ordered some stick on lenses on the internet. It was considerably less expensive then buying them from a dive shop. You can purchase the version made for non diving uses, such as welding, for less as well. They are just a bit smaller in size but work well. I put mine on the outside of the mask to reduce fogging. So far, I have only lost one lense that way.

More info: Check out the Optex 20/20 web site. Do a search for "stick on lenses". Also you should call them before ordering. I got a much better deal by ordering over the phone. It was something like buy two sets, get one free at the time.
