Anyone know if they are still working there as dive masters ? Doreen & i have a trip planned this December...and what a plan it is ! Yesterday the local dive shop owner called and said "I have great deal for you, but i need an answer within the hour." ..he had the answer in minutes LOL !

sherman quit and is working for plaza. max and netto got fired for leaving divers behind at a divesite.

Sherman has left, Max and Netto were still at Habitat at the end of September. I will ask Jack when I see him tomorrow as he is in UK for the dive show.

Darn... Well, I guess we'll have to find new favorite dive masters.

I can fully understand that Netto and Max got fired for that. I am suprised it happen, Max seemed to really pay attention to who was on the boat.

I'll have to track Sherman down. I know a few places to check after work hours.

Sherman was at Toucan (Plaza) the last two times we went (May 06 and Oct 05). Can't say for certain whether he is still there but will know soon.

Sherman still visits the Deco Stop we saw him quite often last month.

I've heard from a pretty reliable source on-island that yes, it happened (they miscounted) but they're essentially on unpaid disciplinary leave for a number of weeks, but not fired. According to my source, Netto at least (I'm not sure about Max) will be back working at the end of this month.

Netto & Max will be back in a few weeks.

any one knows other side that they have been talking about max and netto , bacause we are coming to bonaire and we need to get to them .or al least tell us the story.

I don't want to add to the speculation, but do wish to see two very hard working and capable people back at Habitat.

Feddie, say hi to George, Rudy and the rest of the gang for us. We will miss you guys on this trip, but I think we can manage to have a good time! I just hope I do OK- I ruptured my eardrum in Roatan at AKR....on the 3rd dive, on the first day of diving! The Dr. beached me. I made the best of it,but was bored. I was so disapointed. Doreen and I did get to see a small sunfish during the slow emergency accent. The first day dry I almost tried to book a flight back... The ENT at home checked me out and I'm good to go.

I just spent a week at Captain Don's (10/28 - 11/4) and Max and Netto are both still working at Habitat. As usual, they both treated us to wonderful, safe diving. Max is a great divemaster.
