Just a quick question. We have always been to Bonaire during the months of January through March but this year we will have the opportunity to go later in the year and we were wanting to know if the visibility is better in the summer months (May-August) or if there is much difference on the island? Thanks for your feedback.

Don't know what your viz was like before but I have always visited in the June - August range and have had 60ft (on the worst day)and more. This past July had some poor days of visibility but it did clear later into my stay. Jerry Ligon though it was stuff floating up on the currents from South America.

The visibility has been pretty bad all summer. Some people write that it is getting better, and others say it is still fairly poor. It was much better last summer, but I don't know if it would be better or worse than the winter months.

It's hot and dry in the summer.
