We are very lucky to be returning to Bonaire in a couple weeks. We still have our Marine Park tags from last trip which has been less than a year. I have two questions:
1) are the tags good for a full year or do we have to buy new ones?
2) We are staying at Buddy's again. Since we have our tags and have been there recently can we get air when we get there or will we have to wait until the following day? We don't get there till late afternoon. Anxious to get wet!

Your tag is good for the calendar year. And your dive package doesn't start till the next day... Ron

As Ron said, the tags are good for the calendar year; in other words, if you got the tags after 1 Jan 2006, then they're still good, and if you got them in 2005 then you'll need to get new ones. I would suggest emailing Augusto, the Dive Shop Manager at Buddy Dive (diveshop@buddydive.com) to ask him about what he can do to get you wet as soon as possible. You'll probably have to wait til the next morning and do the orientation (and it's not a bad idea to just chill out after a day of travelling), but there's always a chance that Augusto may be able to accomodate you. We'll be heading back for our ninth visit to Buddy's in November; can't wait.
