Stayign at Divi and will have snorkling wife along. Just finished my Rescue cert. Probably do one boat/day and a couple of boat nights. The rest shore.

I can't help you about a diving buddy but I wanted to let you know that the snorkeling at the Divi is awesome so your wife will enjoy staying there! They have a cement pier that tons of fish life in it. There is a little sunken boat just to the right of the pier in about 15 feet of water that is really neat too as well as under there southern most dock. The Woodwind also sails from the Divi which is an added convenience.
The Woodwind is a trimaran that does sail and snorkel trips with unlimited drinks and lunch included. It does one stop at Kline where you usually see turtles and then another stop at Andrea, Pietre Pillar or Small Wall. It is a really fun day.www.woodwindbonaire.com I also would suggest doing guided snorkels with Renee from www.reneesnorkeltrips.com. She is incredible and is very reasonably priced. I call her eagle eyes. She finds so much and knows where a lot of the little critters live. Instead of renting a car, I usually do a guided with Renee or sail on the Woodwind in the mornings and around the resort in the afternoons. I will be in Bonaire the 7th-21st if your wife wants to hook up with me.

There will be 6 of us staying at Caribbean Club for the 11th and 12th, then we move to Elkadia until the 22nd. You are welcome to come along with us! We will even have a dive right off the back of our house for night dives. We are so excited about the spawn--something we have always wanted to see and just by a fluke we booked that week to go to Bonaire!
