Many of you may have read about a recent series of press releases concerning DAN insurance for recompression services and an ongoing dispute between DAN America and one of the large, international chamber network operators - SubAquatic Safety Services (SSS).

Although this problem only related to DAN America and did not regard DAN Europe, DAN Southern Africa, DAN South East Asia Pacific and DAN Japan, I am now very happy to inform you that the problem is now solved and that DAN America and SSS have reached a mutually satisfactory agreement by which DAN America Insurance is once again accepted by SSS worldwide, as it is confirmed by the appended DAN America and SSS Press Release.

Representatives of SSS announce that DAN America insurance is once again accepted as a result of the resolution of the outstanding claims that were the basis for the lawsuit. The terms of the settlement remain confidential. The SSS Network of Recompression Chambers and DAN America pledge to work closely together to ensure that injured divers will receive the most appropriate and effective medical care.
