Here are some pictures from our Feb/Mar trip that I'd like some help (confirmation) of identification:

I think I know what the fish are, but can't ID the other thing.

Chet, Is this thing more like a nudibranch or is it a fish?? it could be a juv.plumed scorpionfish
can't really tell if its a fish or not..
could the second picture be a Coney??
Still searching for the top photo id... Good luck great shots

Last two pix look like a rigid pen shell (afrina rigada). Normally they like a sandy bottom.

Freddie & Bob,
Freddie: I'm fairly sure it's a Coney; I was looking for confirmation because until this trip I had never seen this coloration before.
Bob: Thought it was a "shell" thing of some kind, but couldn't find any pictures in the Paul Humann "Creature" book that looked like it. Also, couldn't find 'afrina rigada'.

It looks like a Pinna Carnea or Amber Penshell. They are common in the Caribbean and inhabit narrow openings in the reef.

2. bi-colored coney
3. ridged penshells
