Has any one had any experiences with Photo tours or any suggestions on who else I can use. This is going to be our second trip to Bonaire but our first trip for diving. I was just looking for a good, honest and reliable dive shop to use that is relatively close to Sorobon, ie south side of K-town.

Hello Tod. Returned 7/31/05 from a week in Paradise and used Photo Tours for the fifth time.
I highly recommend them. They are now located in the front of Caribbean Court so getting tanks is easy. Eddie Faber and the entire staff are friendly and helpful. Yellow Submarine is part of Photo Tours so they have several locations to pick up tanks. Best wishes Jerry.

Tod,

Ditto on what Jerry posted about Photo Tour Divers. We used them 3 years ago (has it really been that long.... :-() and were very pleased with everyone involved. Two friends that went with us did an intro SCUBA course with them and went on several dives with us. They had a great time also. I rented an underwater video camera from them for a day and I still enjoy watching our Hilma Hooker dive.

They were especially understanding when on our last day we had some of our gear stolen from our resort (a long story I won't go into). Anyway, since we were diving with them, they just went ahead and set us up with replacement masks and fins free of charge.

When we go back, hopefully in another year, we will certainly consider using them again - depending on where we stay.

Michael

Tod, we also used Photo Tours this summer and picked up most of our tanks at their location at Caribbean Court although you can also get tanks at Yellow Sub in town and Hamlet Oasis north of town. They do ask that you return the tanks to the shop where you picked them up. The tanks are locked from approx 4:30pm until approx 8am so you need to plan accordingly. You can, however, get to the rinse tanks beyond those hours. They ask that that you take not more than 2 tanks per person and you need to sign them out by number. Eddie, Karen and Michael at CC location are friendly, cheerful and full of good information. We were very happy there.

ABSOLUTELY USE THESE GUYS!!!!! Was there just a few weeks ago and the service was REALLY GREAT! Karin, Michael and Eddie all went out of their way to make our stay there fun and enjoyable. Eddie helped fix one of the guys BC, Karin shared all her secret dive spots and Michael kept us all topped off with a continuous supply of NITROX. They told us the best food spots and where to get the best groceries. Definately some of the best service we had the 9 days we were on the island!
