My buddy and I will be diving on Bonaire between Sept 4th and the 9th (actual diving dates)...we always enjoy doing dives with Larry on the East side, but we want to dive the other places besides the same two sites he has taken us too..which is the Blue Hole and right outside of the bay.

I presume the more divers we have who want to do this the better our chances are of going some place different. So if any experienced divers read this and will be on the island during the time, let me know and maybe we can get something together.

My wife and I have done a number of dives on the east side and I understand your desire to do additional dive sites that Larry does not go to. Just a word of caution(that I am sure you have already considered and heard) if you are planning on doing east side shore diving on your own. Be extra cautious and consider using a very experienced guide. The conditions can change rapidly and I have helped "stranded" divers on the east side more than once. I would recommend contacting Bas, who used to work for Photo Tours and have him take you where you would like to go. Unfortunately we will not be getting back to the island until late September. Have a safe trip and say hello to the eagle rays and huge sting rays for us.

My buddy and I are pretty experienced and safety conscious divers. We once eyed up the Lighthouse site, but didn't go in because it was a little too rough for my liking....if it was an all sand bottom thats one thing, but with all the rocks etc...no thanks, I heard its not really worth it anyway.

We are perfectly happy with the West side, but do like a little adventure. I dont think we would attempt a dive on the East side alone, possibly the Blue Hole..but thats about it. It's no big deal, I know we will run into Larry while we are down there, we'll talk to him then.

Menno is very customer focused, so he will certainly listen to requests for other dive sites.

You should contact Larry if you enjoyed your dives with him. I've gone with him multiple times, and I've gone to many different spots. Been to Spelonk, just south of Lagun, and north and south of Lac Reef to name a few.

I recommend e-mailing him ahead of time and asking him... have you asked him to go to different spots?
