It seems to me that the three wrecks that can easily be seen by entering from just about anywhere on the Eden Beach property seem to have started coming around quite a bit w/sea life. After not diving them for almost two years, this year I hit all three and was very pleased with what I found. The tugboat had the usual giant green moray present as well as a giant grouper in it's hull. Not a Goliath Grouper, just a really large one for Bonaire. The webcam wreck has a bunch of life on the side of the ship pointing away from the camera and the wreck at 50 feet, between Harbour Village and Eden Beach also has tons a fish compared to two years ago. Hell, I ended up doing five dives right outside of my front door while staying at Eden Beach. My dive buddy loves wrecks and these three have gotten a lot more lively and worth a visit in my opinion.

We always stay at Eden Beach and have enjoyed all the dive sites we have been to. Eden Rubble is our favourite for the diversity and abundance of fish as well as the convenience of jumping straight in almost from our room. All right it doesn’t have the coral that some sites do but it does have a variety of habitats that seem to attract most species found on Bonaire.

Apart from the rubble in front of EB there are the 3 wrecks you mentioned plus the big barrel under the two yachts to the north and a bit further on the start of Bari reef. Also to the north there are the sandy areas of Front Porch, home to a couple of Bat fish. There is also the small jetty and the undercut to the shore as well as loads of rocky bits under the dive boat.

One memorable dive we were caught in the middle of a baitball, everything went dark for a few seconds then the ball moved away and about a dozen Jacks were chasing it … magic moments

We have always been amazed at the number of fish and other beasties to be seen. Our favourite time to dive is from about 15:30 through till sunset. That’s when there seem to be more fish about, and they are less wary of divers, as for many its mating time. What can be better than surfacing to a glorious sunset and knowing that the shower and Bongos are just a few feet away.

Enjoy Eden Rubble, always a memorable dive.
