Can anyone update me on which dive sites are now restricted? I have heard that the windjammer, salt & town piers are now restricted due to possible terrorist activity. Thanks in advance for the information.

My understanding is that the windjammer site, while off-limits, was not necessarily restricted due to possible terrorist activity, but that BOPEC has decided to restrict access from their property for undisclosed reasons. The last I heard, Salt Pier and Town Pier can only be dived with a local divemaster after processing some paperwork and getting approved. I think most diveshops can arrange this if you're interested. Don't know of any other restrictions.
