Last year while staying at Lion's, I noticed Buddy's boats were pretty well loaded, to say the least. Has the situation changed, or do I have cattle boats to look forward to when I return in July? If so, I'll be doing more shore diving.

I think you might be doing more shore diving!

I think it depends upon the time of year, and whether or not there are dive groups, too. During high season, you may see a lot of people on a boat. During the slow season, they may not even run the boats if not enough people sign up.

We had some boat dives at Captain Don's this last time (May) where it was us and maybe 3-4 other people. We've also had occasion to scratch ourselves off the list or not even add ourselves when the signup show's the boat will be extra full.

Dive groups often will be given a boat all to themselves, too. So if the boat is really full, it could be with a group of people who want to dive together.

Why don't you wait and see and play it by ear?

I will, depending on how full the boat is and where its going. I'm going to be in a group of 26 from my LDS, but I doubt we'll all be diving at the same time.
