Rick,

If your pictures are smaller than 50Kb, and in GIF or JPEG format, you can post them on the boards using the following: \image{text} where you can change text to whatever you want it to be.

What did Marsha tell you they were, Rick? I'm away from my Humann book, but those fishies look to be in the trigger fish family...

Nice crinoid.

Jake

I know that is usually only seen deep in Bonaire 150 ft or deeper. It is a Sargassum Triggerfish. Very interesting that (fish) is Censored! I think you need to work on that part of the program a little? OH I see fish is followed by a space then it. Still need to work on the program a little I think

Walt,

Hopefully the moderators will take a look at what caused the "red dots of censorship" - if you remember what you wrote you may want to e-mail them at moderators@bonairetalk.com...

Jake

Jake, the profanity software is going crazy. Example follows:

Above deleted words were:

fish (then the word) it
wish (then the word) it
swish (then the word) it

This can also be done with variations of other "banned" words.

I know Cynde and Martin posted something about having played around with the profanity filter a month or two ago. Perhaps they need to undo some of their changes (or at least reduce the sensitivity of the matches (like not telling it to filter for intervening spaces)).

I've experienced the same censoring problems with posts. It appears that the software links the last two letters of a word with the first two letters of the following word. The result is the software assumes we are trying to spell "human excrement".

Robert, it is true that the option is set that words with spaces are combined, to prevent people from using w o r d s with spaces so the filter doesn't see it as "Bad words". I did make some changes, if any of you is having problems, please mail the moderators...

Oh boy this could be fun. Looking for ways to get your exact meaning across. Let me think of the possibilities boy do I like a good challenge, what variations can I come up with?

Fiona i don't remember where i saw them probably down south as we dove south most all week. Jake Marsha told me that they are sargassum triggers and crinoid. Walt they must have been in about 70,80 or 90 ft that is what we dove mostly all week. And Walt what is the red dots about. Cynde i also sent emails to all the people you listed in the theft post. Thanks for the info as we had our spare tire stolen.
