Now I AM getting excited- booked some diving with Photo Dives today and we leave a week from Saturday for Bonaire!! yay countdown!! Now- has anyone recently seen the pink bus? (I know- I could go to the website and ask- but I love the information that I get from y'all.) Opinions? It sounds like a cool concept- but does the bus make the site of the day really crowded?

tami, i don't know if it's operating right now. when we were there last year it was operating on an almost daily basis then it broke down (we saw it getting towed back to town).
no, it doesnt' seem to make the dive site too crowded. maybe at the hooker, but that's crowded anyway. i've seen it at angel city and some of the other sites and didn't notice many extra divers there...just the usual suspects.

They haven't called for parts so it must not be to badly broke.

No pink bus on our 12-22 to 1-2 trip.

we just got back from our trip- great dives with photo tours- they had some really nice boat trips out to Klein B (thanks Chili and Chris!!) and the whole operation is nicely done- thanks Eddie for the lockers and all the info. we SAW the pink bus- it is living over by the tank house. Didn't look as if it were going anywhere soon. (And sorry- we forgot to sign our tanks in that last time- but we didn't have ANY stolen!! We were very lucky though- we scored a rental truck that had a cover for the back that locked (after we fixed the lock with a hammer- it was a little bent)- so we felt a little better about our shore dives. But tank theft is a problem- we were asked to only take two apiece at a time.
