I'm going to be doing my open water referral during the spring break. Hugh and I are thinking about popping over to Costa del Silencio (Las Galletas)in Tenerife for a long weekend. Have any of you guys/gals dived there, and if so, can you recommend a good dive operator? Any info, no matter how small, will be very much appreciated. Thanks, Sarah

Beautifull dives with lot of friendly rays, big rocs like organs due to volcanoes, lot af fishes, and a wreck.
i dive with Christian and his wife Sylvie, very experienced and friendly.
you can make deep or shallow dives, like you want.

Sarah, I'm having a GREAT time on Bonaire. Found plenty of people willing to dive with a newbie like me. Off shortly to head to Mi Dushi with some people who live on a cruising sailboat!!

However, I still hate all the equipment stuff and still love snorkeling because there's not such much messing about with all this technical stuff. Still, it's lovely underwater. I'm going to be doing some of the AOW dives this trip also. Who'd have thought!!?

Gosh Josie, next you'll be telling me you're doing Divemaster!! Funny thing is, I had to study most of the Divemaster theory as part of my course .. was really interesting stuff.. but forget about the practical!!!! Continue to have fun, Sarah

We're staying up at Sabadeco, I need to find out where the nearest dive operator is? It doesn't look as though I'm going to have the time to do a referral before our departure.. Thanks for any info.. Sarah

If Sabadeco is near Andrea I & II then Capn Dons is not too far away. They have a good and broad range of instructors, I have heard many positive comments - Juni and Jenny come to mind. if you are into U/W photos then Wilco does both. We have done courses with Karen and she is very good, its a shame that Ditte has left as she also was the marine biologist. If you are at LIDS this weekend I am sure you will get assistance.
We are there on Sunday planning our next jaunts.

Hi Brian, thanks for the info. I've also been doing a little research myself, and it would appear that Habitat is also close by.
