I am going to be in bonaire Jan 2-12 and need a dive buddy- where is the best place to meet one? Also can I just go on the dive boats solo and tag along with groups? Anyone have any experience in this area?

Yes you can tag along with groups, and that's a great place to meet others. With that many people, you can just kind of see who you "click" with and then ask if you can do a few shore dives with them. If they would rather you not (which is very rarely the case) then I'm sure you'll get a feel for that.

A three ways to handle this problem, sign up for some boat dives (they will pair you up), wait around at a dive site and someone will show up to dive with or third dive solo.
