Thinking of trip March 5th 2000. Do not wish to add to excessive dive activity on the reefs during the middle weeks of March. Have been places where wall to wall divers degrade vis and stress environment. Would rather delay than add to problems. Anyone know if this is a problem?

We've been on Bonaire in Oct. Jan. Feb. and March. We've never encountered a crowded dive site.In fact,it's rare to see a diver not with your group, ever.Even when there may be another vehicle parked at the divesite or a diveboat moored at the bouy. The only places it may get crowded are the Hilma Hooker or the Town Pier at nite.Bonaire may be difficult and pricey to get to but the lack of crowds both above and below water is the reward.

Agree with Bob...have never experienced a crowd in Bonaire. For one thing, you can only put one dive boat on a site at a time, which translates to about 15 divers max, and even if there is simultaneous shore diving, the impact is nil.And the boats from the different resorts avoid using contiguous sites...they don't have to---there are too many great places to dive.
