Will be in Bonaire, (to visit my small condo)March 26-April 2. Would like recommendations and contact information for a small charter to dive Salt Pier. Don't mind maybe one other couple, but that's about it.

Brian, how are you doing? Look into the Pink Dive bus if you can't find anybody. They are there every Thursday, if you go to my last trip report, Sand Dollar Feb 14-21 I have a link to their web site. It's a free service but they sell snacks and t-shirts. They provide a rinse gear for your camera, have chairs and shade to sit down and it's nice to have somebody there.

Well! Hello ther Alan and Zoe! It's been a while since I've posted or even browsed here. Good to hear from you. Judi has an injured wrist (nothing very serious) that makes shore diving a non-staarter this trip.
We love the Pink Bus, and have enjoyed diving with them in the past.
I believe there's an expatriot islander that does private charters to the windward side (when appropriate) salt pier, etc. That's who I'm looking for.
How are you doing. Getting down to the island any time soon.
We'll be up in your neck of the woods at the end of May. My oldest daughter is renewing her wedding vows in Brooklyn, and We'll be doing the city as a large family contingent (lord help me).
Take care. We hope to see you under the water someday in the near future.

Brian, I believe you are referring to Larry's Shore & Wild Side Diving. Try:

Hi Brian,

Menno from Deep Blue View does small charters as well. You can find his boat in the marina or contact him via Deep Blue View (tel: 7178073).

Peter

Brian, why do you need a charter for the salt pier? No auto?

For diving the east side, you might also consider contacting Bas, I think he's at Photo Tours? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. My friend Bob Neer dove with him, and loved it.

Thanks to all for the responses. We'll probably check most of them out. Now if I can just find my extra snorkel keeper! We're going to try some underwater digital photography for the first time. Thought the salt pier would be a good place to experiment a bit.
