This is our third trip to Bonaire and Patty finally took the necessary courses leading up to her open water cert. We will be on Bonaire from Jan 21-28 and would like to do it there, this time staying at the Divi. Should we pre-book or can we book it when we get there, how long will it take, and how much will it cost?

Carl and Patty (congratulations Patty) I would email the dive shop at the Divi directly and find out from them. I had thought about taking my rescue cert last July, and emailed a couple of places about doing do (never did do it so I'm shooting for this July again)

Hi, Carl and Patty! It is, indeed a small world. Carl and I had exchanged a few emails via the BT board and we discovered that Patty and I work for the same employer ( a government entity) and can see each others offices from across the street! How ironic....to discover that you work someone via a Bonaire discussion board! LOL.

We are Divi folks, too. Have a great time on Bonaire and at the Divi and say Hi to all of the beautiful sea creatures for me, too, OK?

To answer a question you had proposed to me, Carl...yes, I'd LOVE to see more pics of Kaya Turkesa #7 if you get up there to see the property. We can't wait to be there in June.

When in June are you going?

We will be there June 12 thru June 26...two weeks of total relaxation and escape from the rat race! LOL. It will be here before we know it. Carole

If I were you I would call the resort direct at 011-559-717-8285 and talk to the dive shop. In my experience the home office is very inefficient. It won't cost much and will pretty much insure that things will go right when you get there. Using a discount number will reduce the cost even more.
You're going to love diving in Bonaire.
