I plan to be in Bonaire the first two weeks of December. Would like to do a series of dives in Venezuelan waters, possibly Las Aves, so I can add South America to my list of dive spots.

Does anyone know of dive operators that take fast boats there to do such dives in 1-2 days? Anyone interested in joining up if this happens?

Bill

Hi Bill,
The only boat that I know of that does that is Sea witch Charters, which is not a fast boat but rather a sail charter. Their trips take usually two or three days. It is about a five to seven our trip.I Recommend them for their knowledge of the place. (Aside of course for the fact that they are nice people and their boat is beautiful)
Have fun
Bart

Dr. Bill Bushing...love your website. We have been looking to get involved in the ecosystem at Catalina for a while, but haven't had the right opportunity...I will check it out a little more.

Dr. Bill,
If you are still following this thread, how did your trip to Venezuelan waters go? I will be on Bonaire 3/20/02 to 4/1/02 and would like to do a trip there too. Thanks.

BTW-Is Armstrongs still the best restaurant on Catalina for Abs? And how is Andy Pilmanus from my ole' alma mater? (USC Hyperbaric Chamber-Two Harbors)
