We did a day snorkle with Renee on the woodwind at klein Bonaire. She is a great guide and will show you everything that she possible can. Renee is very informative. Plus the lunch they give you on the island is fantastic. She also does night snorkling off of DIVI which unfortunatly I could not take advantage of.

I echo your praise of Renee and the Woodwind. We were there in mid Oct. We did the Klein & Andrea snorkel with her and also the night snorkel at Divi. Fantastic. Anyone visiting the island should check out the woodwind at Divi. It is very reasonably priced and Renee is a great guide and hostess!

I sail with Renee daily when I am in Bonaire instead of renting a vehicle. We always go to Kline for the first stop and then she will try to make the second snorkel stop to a different place every day. When you sail with her daily she also knows what you have seen and what you are looking for and she will call out your name when it is something that interests you. She has a keen eye for finding even the smallest of things and her excitement and enthusiasm is never ending. I also do her night snorkels and they are very interesting. Last February I swam with this huge tarpon by our sides the whole time. We even watched him feed when we shined the flashlights on the bait, It was really neat! Also, if Jan Huckaby is sailing the day you are aboard she will do a video of your whole sailing and snorkeling adventure and it is awesome. It is worth buying!! We love ours and watch it over and over again!

I've been reading about Renee on this web site for months. Please tell me where I can find her once in Bonaire. Sounds like a must do the next time we go!

Snorkleguy, she will be right where you plan to be (based on your messages above)---the Divi. It is her home base. There is a sign-up board for all the trips during the week...the BBQ sail is a favorite, so are the longer trips on weekends with a lunch included...

Snorkelguy, you can find Renee at Divi. She has a sign up board there for her excursions. The Woodwind is anchored at Divi. Don't miss the opportunity. It is well worth it.

Wow, Darlene, what a cool idea. Not renting a car and using the $ to enjoy the Woodwind. You must stay at Divi! There were so many places we didn't get to snorkel because of the length of our stay, that when (notice I don't say IF) we go back we have a long list of spots to visit. Just waiting for decent air prices to schedule the next trip! Thanks for the Heads UP on the woodwind. It and Renee was indeed the highlight of our trip.

2Nancys, I do stay at the Divi and Renee is one of the main reasons!! I also love its proximity to town and all the restaurants. It is a very quiet and nice resort and the view from the deluxe waterfront rooms can't be beat!!! The price is really reasonable for the type of resort that it is.
