We are looking at spending 10 days in Bonaire next June and wondering if it is better to wait until after the Dive Festival rather than coming during the Festival. We will be snorkeling and kayaking, but not diving. Will all the boats and guided trips be slanted to the divers during the week of the festival?

Bonaire is never really crowded and dive festival attracts folks who take part in planned activities so you will not see croweded restaurants, etc. The numbers of participants doesn't go much past 2-300. Generally, people who are here for non- dive festival find themeselves joining in and attending some of the seminars and parties at the variouis host hotels. It is a well planned activity and orgainzed so that the island can handle the festival with no appartent crowding or pressure on the level of service.
