Its my First time to Bonaire and havent been able to find any local dive maps or other information on dive sites. The only clue to the quality of diving there has been testimonials and the odd silt filled picture. (Love the testomonials... Hate the pictures) I'm specifivally looking for terain conditions, Depths, and Interesting Underwater Points of intrest.

The underwater pics are not 'silt-filled'–that's
plankton that all the small fish feed on. The
bright sunlight combined with the camera
characteristics makes the 'column-of-light'
effect at some sun angles, which you don't
see as a diver there. Bonaire doesn't have the
long distance visibility of Cozumel but then
Cozumel doesn't have the number of fish and
animals that Bonaire does. You pays your
money and....

aerial 'view' of the islands. Once you are on
island there are at least two maps that detail
the island and the dive site locations.

I would like to know of a web site that has the
kind of data you are looking for on each dive
site, too. The sources I have seen are books
on Bonaire that are available in most dive
shops, if you are near one. New sites are
being added yearly so the books don't quite
keep up but there is considerable similarity in
sites along each stretch of the shore.
