I was lucky enough to trade my timeshare week for a week on Bonaire (taking care of the "where will I be staying" decision), but having never stayed at the Flamingo I was wondering about the ease of transporting tanks & gear to vehicles for shore dives? Is it is easy or difficult? If it's a pain I could always dive with Buddy or Toucan, I guess...any thoughts?

Thomas, it is about as easy as it gets. You just make arrangements with the dive operation as to when you need the tanks; drive your vehicle right up to the loading area; load 'em on; and go off to enjoy your dives!

The dive staff at the Divi is always very accomodating. They have a drive up for tanks for shore diving and have a deversified plan on their boat dives or you can go right off the dock, always one of my favorit dives. They take the hassel out of diving. They make it "easy to be" in Bonaire.Just talk to the staff when you check in. You'll love diving from the Flamingo. Have Fun!
