This may not be the right forum for this but has Chantel had any affect on Bonaire? It was only packing 35mph winds as it went by but I am still curious. Please tell me that we weren't surfing out in front of Buddy's.

Well, our winds never exceeded the usual 15mph (and most of the time it was less). No unusual wave activity, and while Friday was overcast, no rain. Yesterday was another beautiful day in paradise. Kind of a disappointing tropical wave/storm for all that ;-)

Jake, I'm happy there has been no wave action has the harbormaster removed his warnings? Also, since you received no rain I assume you are still in need or have you had some recently?

Nope. Rain is still needed, but I'm not very concerned - rainy season's only a couple of months away :-)
