Hi all,

My husband and I are in the NYC area. Whats the best/easiest/quickest way to get to/from BON?

We only have 4-5 days.

We can fly out of JFK, LGA or EWR. Thanks all!

EWR has direct flights on Continental or AA via Miami and Curacao an then Insel (or other local carrier) to Bonaire, also Delta via any of the aforementioned airports via Atlanta. Good luck!

Thx for the info... I guess I need to clarify. Do any NY'ers have a preferred way of getting to BON and back to JFK, LGA or EWR? The Sat/Sat is easiest because its direct both ways (on Continental) but we only have 4 days. A Wed-Sat or Sat to Wed, whats the easiest?

Is it flying AA to AUA and then DAE/Insel or flying direct from EWR to BON and then going CUR-MIA-LGA on the way home?

We are trying to save time and $$$$. Thanks again!

Consider CO--I don't know how their pricing is, but it might be the easiest--you could fly down on the non-stop EWR/BON, then return on Wed, CUR/EWR. CO has the mid-week non-stop only from CUR. You'd have to choose a local BON/CUR flight for Wed, but that's no big deal. All the local carriers have BON/CUR flights that would get you to CUR in time to connect to CO. Another good way is to fly AA to MIA and then to CUR, getting there around 2 PM. Then take one of the local planes to hop over to BON.
The advantage with AA is that they fly this route 7 days a week...

Normally Tom, I agree w/AA via MIA/CUR--however, you need to be careful if you're flying before the BON airport construction is finished (and you'll also be flying around 5-6am from NYC to make the morning AA flight-ugh, or over-nighting in MIA, which doesn't save money).

On the days when the BON airport is closing early (Sun, Mon & Wed), you cannot make a same day connection from CUR/BON. It's a little easier on Tue & Thur, when the airport is staying open later, and Fri/Sat don't matter since the airport doesn't close at all. The construction schedule here is at least thru July 2011.
