We had to change my timeshare week and have to decide soon for the fall dates.
I cann't seem to find the red eye out of Newark for that time frame.( I was a fan of this for the last few years)
Are the flights out of Miami the way to go that time of year?
Any suggestions for Sept or October?

Hey, Lorraine --

Just flipping through Continental's schedule, and it certainly looks as though the red-eye from EWR to BON is gone. They are showing the trip, but it goes from Newark to Houston, and then to Bonaire.

Delta is showing a flight to Atlanta, then Atlanta to Bonaire on Saturdays.

If I remember correctly, somewhere in the "Getting to Bonaire" thread, someone noted that Insel would begin flying out of Charlotte (?) sometime this fall.

Getting to Bonaire has never been an easy trick, and it looks like it is getting tougher!

GOOD LUCK!! :)

Hi Lorraine--CO doesn't fly EWR/BON in Sept-Oct...which is just when I want to travel too. So, your options are CO via IAH or CUR (CO flies EWR/CUR, Sat & Wed flights I think, daytime, not red-eye), or daily: Insel from MIA (non-stop to BON on Sat, other days via CUR), or AA via MIA/CUR, then a local carrier to BON. Or Delta via ATL (ugh) on Saturdays.

Lorraine -- if you can get a reasonable connection time in ATL, we have found the Delta ATL-BON flight very satisfactory. Arrives early afternoon on Saturday with plenty of time to get car, check into hotel, get groceries ... and get to Bobbejans !!

you could try jet blue to aruba and then a puddle jumper over from there. thinking about this from boston--but just thinking right now. when i go back the continental flight will also be an option but jet blue if it worked would be sweet.

Lorraine, American flies to Curacao twice daily and if you get to Miami early enough or the night before, you could catch the 11:45 am flight arriving in Curacao around 2:30 then take the puddle jumper to Bonaire arriving around 5pm.

You can fly JFK-CUR on AA for less than $550.00 roundtrip in October. Then you can book a local carrier for CUR to BON. good luck! :)

Masha danke for all the responses.
Over the couse of 25 years, sometimes it's been an "adventure" getting there.
I was hoping it would be easier, like I said I really like the "red-eye", no connections.
Maybe I'll see about a change of dates snd see what happens.
I'll give Divi a call and see what my opions are.
Thanks again.
