Boat, plane or plane?

Hey all :-)
We'll be coming to Curacao and Bonaire at the end of August for vacation and familyvisits. We'll fly to Curacao with KLM, spend a few days there, then go on to Bonaire for at least a week and a half, and then go back to Curacao again to head back home. 2,5 weeks in total. :-)
My father-in-law mailed last week that the tarrifs for flying between the islands had come down, and that subsequently the boatfares had been lowered too.
So the question still remains: DCA, Divi Divi or the ferry? Suggestions? Is the ferry really that bad as my girlfriend claims it is? It'll be my first time, you know... ;-)

Hi, the rates travelling between the islands has been lowered.
cost about 140 guilders ($79) for adults en 80 guilders ($45). retour
Divi Divi Air:
cost about 75 guilders ($42) oneway.
Chogogo, it's the ferry (boat) cost:
75 guilders retour ($42) retour
maybe you can check or mail them at the website adres I putted below the rates.
Have a nice trip.!! and welcome to Bonaire, Divers Paradise..
The ferry is great.Thre of us took it both ways. My wife had problems--should have taken 2 pills not one. Phil
So we decided on DCA, mainly because we need to take our suitcases with us (which seems to be a problem with Divi), and the ferry is a) veto'd by Kitty and b) out of the water for repairs.
Originally we had tickets for the 11.40 flight... which became the 12.40 flight... which became the 13.15 flight. Now we'll be flying at 16.15 this afternoon... I hope...
