I am considering a trip to Bonaire about a year from now. I am trying to book some lodging now so that I get what I want. I need to understand when the best time to arrive and depart is based on typical flight availability. Can anyone recommend the least expensive least painful flight options from the US?

We are traveling from upstate new york and it is amazing that from Albany we would have paid around 800 - 900 apiece but from Newark which is only a few hours away 458 in february none the less! So we booked and will be taking the train for only 88 dollars RT directly to the airport! That is Awesome we think! It is a red eye so we are in real early but we can deal! First time so we are so FREAKIN excited!
