Having finally gotten fed up with AA, I am driving from Baltimore to Newark for the CO flight. Where is the easiest to find parking for someone totally not familiar with the area? I'll be coming up the NJ turnpike.

Sharyn, I second Avistar and have used them for years but I think they did just change names. You park at the site and they bring you to your terminal, right now C in a shuttle bus, you call an 800 number upon return for pickup and your car is waiting.

Other options - have you considered taking the train up to the airport as I believe you can now catch a connection spur right to the airport. I also have heard a few people stay at one of the airport hotels one night and get free parking for the trip and a shuttle to the airport that night if you are on the red eye which I assume you are. You always have the option of long term parking right at the airport but it is expensive.

It takes me about 2 1/4 hours to get to inner harbor Baltimore from where I live in central NJ with normal traffic. I am about 1 hour south of Newark airport if that helps and I love crabcakes!

What ever works for you have a safe trip.

Patrick

We have used FastTrack twice there this past year. Good prices and good service. Shuttles to and from the airport. Easy to get to from the turnpike, we also take the NJ turnpike to get there.

Sharyn
How about flying Continental BWI-EWR- BON. More expensive probably, but a lot less hassle.

Mick, It is a lot more $$ and that's money I'd rather spend in Bonaire...that's a lot of Polars!
And Newark is only 3 hrs up the road for me so it's really not a hassle. Lots of Bonaire bound folks have to drive that far to just to get to an airport.

Eh
Air prices sure are strange. I just went to the Continental site and put in BWI-BON got $909 went back, changed BWI to EWR and got $1099 go figure that out.

That's because from EWR it's nonstop, hence a premium flight.
From BWI it's a one-stop, so it's terribly inconvenient.
They have vice-presidents in suits who sit around figgering out these pricing details...

Just makes me glad I snagged the EWR - Bon when it was only $539!!! Thanks to all for the suggestions Fasttrack looks like it has the best rates and looks easy to find ( even for this blonde).

We always use Fasttrack and it's great. I would suggest going to the website and taking advantage of the online reservation discount. If you reserve your spot ahead of time with a credit card, your rate is usually less than ten bucks a day - a bargain! Just print out the form and keep it with you for when you leave the lot and you'll get charged the discount rate.
