I use Continental out of Newark for most air travel. This is the latest on baggage fees, but now its the first bag:

So much for grabbing that economy fare. Can international travel first bag fees be far away?

Hi, Pat,

Yup, you can see the writing on the wall. Chippin' away at our pockets/wallets. Not very nice. Also boosting the airfares along with the fuel price increases...they are now hitting us in all directions for amenities (I think they are essentials, however.)

International to Bonaire (so far) is safe. For how long? Who the heck knows! cb

I will be using Continental out of Newark in December. Has anyone had issues with them on oversize bags ? Are they being strict about it ?
