Well, here is a little story...as you may know Sat. is the beginning of the Caribbean Jr. Softball Tourney. QUITE a big deal and well, AA has been packed with kids and teams coming. Last night I went to meet a flight as Team Hawaii was coming in for the Pro Kids. They along with many were not on board due to the flight being oversold and their connection arrived late. Some folks had no luggage. All were supposed to arrive tonight. Well...not so..check out www.stormcarib.com to see the weather blurb over Bonaire. AA is NOT coming until 11 30 tomorrow AM. As a result our kids are stuck in SJU another night and my flight to Puerto Plata tomorrow (windsurfing event) will not happen..I will miss my connection. I called Cornelia at AA who was most helpful. She has her hands full tonight. Good luck to all using AA this weekend including me.

I hope you get to enjoy your trip Ann. (Remember...Brugal!!!)

Wes flew with a kids team from Bonaire to San Juan and said the kids were a great bunch to be flying with. I hope Bonaire does well in the tournament.

i did not get out..AA never arrived Thur. night so the 6:30 flight did NOT leave. It left 12:30 PM. I would have missed my connection. Cornelia told me she could not get me out Sat. so I decided not to go. Not going is a total bummer Tribsy not just for the rum. I had work and a lot of people to meet. What can one do...it's the reality of weather and living in de islands mon. The bad thing is AA in BON wants to charge me 150 USD cancel fee which I say PHOOEY so am working thru the Tulsa office to get a voucher for another trip. HAving to cancel work and a trip is one thing..being charged is NOT cool

Sorry to hear this Ann. I just had a really great experience with Am Eagle. I was at the Chattanooga airport and had a very long wait and the guy at the counter offered to move me to the earlier flight, free of charge. I accepted and actually got home 4 hours earlier than planned. I guess sometimes things work out and other times not so much. Again...sorry about your trip and work.
