Last week we called KLM to ensure the 30kg weight limit per person was unchanged. Sadly, no, said the KLM person in London. We would have to pay excess baggage on anything over 20kg. The next day, after a call to our travel agent, we were told that we could indeed take up to 30kg; as long as we make a list of the diving equipment that will be in our luggage. No problem - but we have insisted that KLM send us a written confirmation. I hope this might be useful to any travellers.
