I know a lot of people are down on AJ, but we have not had a bad experience, other than some delays returning to the states. We like to extend our vacation for a little more than a week which makes all the Sat only flights problematic. Just booked AJ ATL to CUR for Feb at 500 per ticket. They fly on Thurs and Sat, and seem to have a good connection for Divi. First time we have travelled via this route. Anyone else tried it in the past?

We did the same thing Diane. We then fly Divi to Bon and back to Curacao. We have done this around three times before.

Departs ATL at 8:40 am, and arrives in CUR at 3:10pm, which should get you on the 5:00 Divi. AJ departs CUR on Sat at 4:00 pm, and arrives in ATL at 8:30 pm. Saturday Divi Bon departure times are 11:45, 1:15, and 2:45. I'm figuring on the 1:15. Divi won't book us until Sept for Feb. Guess we are planning too far ahead for them. I hate going thru Aruba, the layovers for American are kinda long, and that $500 fare got my attention (especially since I used Chase reward points which paid for it)!

That is a great price; less than we paid to fly ATL-BON in January. We have flown the ATL-CUR route in the past and it is no problem. The 5:00PM Divi flight is often full on Sat. but may be OK on Thursday.
