I was looking for a round trip flight from BON to BDL for May 2009.
Somehow I got it backwards and got a price for BDL to BON $729.
I corrected it to BON to BDL and the price jumped to $947; same time frame plus or minus a day; same airline, Continental.
It is basically the same trip in reverse........why the big price difference?

Perhaps it is the time of day that Continental flies into BDL as there are very few Continental flights to Hartford. We live in NH and have priced Continental (Newark or Houston Bonaire connection) from BDL, BOS (Boston) and MHT (Manchester, NH) and have always found the MHT one to be the least expensive with the most connections to the Bonaire flight. If you can drive from Manchester to the BDL area you might save some money that way.
