Air Jamaica seems to have done away with the Monday flight as of a few days ago. I had been watching the fares for our next trip and suddenly the Monday option disappeared. I called my travel agent (who is now charging 10% fee for air) and he confirmed that Air Jamaica is now flying only on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from Boston.

Well you gave me a bit of a startle with that message! So I called AJ to re-confirm my flight on Monday 6/24 from Boston to Bonaire, and was assured it will still go, I'm re-confirmed, and indeed the agent found Monday flights still on the schedule into December. Perhaps what you're seeing on the website is that the Monday flights are full?

I spent a few minutes with the AJ flight schedule page. First, it appears you must separately check the BOS-MBJ and MBJ-BON legs, or else it always comes up with nothing available. Second, indeed the last Monday flight from MBJ to BON appears to be September 2. Checking several Mondays after that shows no flight (it suggests flying Saturday or Wednesday). This would affect all AJ flights to Bonaire, not just from Boston.

Peter, we are re-confirm for 6/24 from Houston. We have the same problem with Hou-Bon. We have to do Hou-M Bay, then M Bay-Bon. I called once and they told me since it was less than one hour they couldn't post it.

after having spent what seems like hours on the phone w/ AJ, they tell me that the website is run seperatly than the reservation computers and is not to be trusted. the Sat 6/22 BOS to BON flight stopped showing up, and my mother and sister are having a terrible time trying to get seats booked (we fly from NYC, and meet them in montego bay) After the flight dissapeared, I was afraid flight was over booked, but AJ says not to trust the website, and that flight is not yet full. Apparently, the flight from BOS is the one that goes straight thru, from montego bay, yet if you are on the first leg from boston, you may not have the same seats (or any at all) going onward to bonaire.

Oh boy..well as u recall I had DL issue my ticket using my miles. They called and said DL had to reissue new tickets because of the flight number change from BOS. I didn't understand since my record shows the CORRECT info in the JM computer system. So I go anyway to Logan in BOS (what a pain and $$$ venture) and was told NOPE, JM HAD TO RETICKET..well they were closed (only open 3 days a week 5-8 AM) so I come home and call DL and they say their staff were in error. UGHH..I plan on going to PVD (Providence) next week to get it reissued.

Sorry if I caused a panic. I tried pulling up my dates in March this week and they would not come up. I have been following the prices on Expedia and checking the schedule on Air Jamaica's web site. I tried to get the new price on Expedia and they said there was no flights on those dates. I called my local travel agent and he pulled it up on the Sabre computer program and he told me that the only days were Wed., Fri, and Sat. Now I am totally confused also. The Monday flight had been showing up regularly on Expedia and then just was not there anymore.

We were booked for next Feb/Mar on Air Jamaica leaving Boston on Sat and returning on a Monday --and then two days after we made the reservations we were told that at that time JA will no longer have the Monday flight. So back to using Hartford (which is actually more convenient for us) and American with its awful times. Oh well ... decided not to get too upset since I do have Bonaire to look forward to!

As of Sept. AJ has dropped the Monday flight and subbed it with the Friday flt. Why, I don't know. I have given up using my fabulous travel agent for Bonaire bookings on AJ as the schedules are not reliable as you all mentioned. We are lucky enough to have a regional AJ office near by- here is the number if any one wants to book directly with them - 301-776-7330- they are very nice and helpful.
